Top management of Ethiopian Investment Holdings held a discussion and working visit with the management of EIIDE
As a result of expanding its portfolio, Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) by incorporating eight key government institutions, for further enhancing its role in managing and transforming state-owned enterprises including the newly added Ethiopian Industrial Inputs Development Enterprise(EIIDE) ,Ethio Post, Ethio Engineering Group, Ethiopian Railway Corporation, Industrial Parks Development Corporation, Development Bank of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Electric Power, Animal Health Institute and ShieldVax.
These institutions, previously managed by various government development organizations, are now under the ownership and management of Ethiopian Investment Holdings. The move is part of a broader strategy to centralize the oversight of state-owned enterprises, streamline operations, and maximize their contributions to Ethiopia's economic growth. A group of topmanegers of the Ethiopian Investment Holdings led by the Deputy CEO, Ms. Meleket Sahlu, held a working visit with the top leaders of the EIIDE on December 25, 2024.
In the occasion, the CEO of EIIDE, Mrs. Yeshimbet Negash, presented a brief report describing the general overview of the enterprise. The top leaders made comments based on the report and finally the Deputy CEO of Ethiopian Investment Group gave remarks based on the report and things to be focused on the future.
Finally, the team visited and different directorates and the new head office which on its completion stage.
